Since 1929, Earle Cobb Dance Studio has been providing students with exceptional instruction in many forms of dance. Currently we offer: tap, ballet, pointe, jazz, hip hop and theatre dance in a variety of levels for students from age three to adult. In 1952, Sandra Cobb Mabry began directing the studio after graduating from the University of Texas in Austin. Daughter, Dena Mabry graduated with a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance from Oklahoma City University and has danced professionally for 10 years. In addition, Dena established the Dance Department at the North East School of the Arts (NESA) and is the school’s inaugural Director of Dance. She also is Director of Dance at the Earle Cobb Dance Studio and teaches advanced levels as well as directing all of the competitive and performing groups. During the school year we offer classes Monday through Saturday. In the summer months the studio offers a regular schedule of classes, special master classes, a number of fun-filled dance camps, and hosts the 3rd Coast Rhythm Project. With yearly performances, students learn to incorporate their technique with stage presence, increasing their overall performance quality. Come join us in our 78th year of sharing the art of dance.
