North East School of the Arts is a college and professional preparatory fine arts magnet high school located on the campus of Robert E. Lee High School. NESA is a gifted and talented program in the arts, and fosters an academically rigorous environment consisting of differentiated curriculum, integrated instruction, and authentic assessment. 

Unique features include: a NESA team of academic and arts instructors; master classes and seminars conducted by professional artists; many enrichment activities; and multiple opportunities for showcasing talent. 

Students from the entire San Antonio metro area may apply to NESA.  

NESA offers students the opportunity to "major" in cinema/animation, creative writing, dance, instrumental music, musical theatre, technical theatre, or visual arts. 

The Dance Program focuses on the history, function, and philosophies of dance: Ballet, Jazz, Modern, and Tap, and choreography for student production.
